How Embedded system works??
So, a system which is built using this type of microcontroller as the heart of the system is called as an embedded system. An embedded system has all the related input and output devices interfaced directly to the microcontroller or connected to it via some driver circuit. Depending upon the application at hand, an embedded system may have few or all of the components shown in the below diagram.
- The block diagram hides almost everything that is complex and gives a bird eye view of an embedded system.
- The embedded systems block diagram shows mainly 3 components of embedded system.
- In the example of temperature controller, the inputs will be switches to accept the setpoint and the temperature sensor itself. Just like, a plant watering system will have input as moisture level sensor.
- Inputs can be usually coming from switches, or sensors.

Making circuits on a board requires lots of time and special skills. For long time, scientists and engineers rely on a simple method to develop any circuit. In this technique, circuit is build on something called breadboard!!! Confused? Actually a bread board is a rectangular board which is having lots of HOLES to place electronic components in it. The holes in bread board are interconnected in such a manner that makes connection of components easier.

LCD is very useful in providing user interface as well as for debugging purpose. The LCD provide an easy way to get display for an embedded system. The most common used ALPHANUMERIC displays are 1*16(Single line and 16 characters), 2*16(double line and 16 characters per line) and 4*20(4 line and 20 characters per line
